Tadhg Beirne has signed a two-year contract extension with Munster Rugby and the IRFU that runs until June 2022.
Beirne joined Munster from Scarlets last summer on a two-year deal and has now committed himself for a further two seasons.
The 27-year-old has made 20 appearances for the province this season, scoring two tries.
Beirne was named Man of the Match in five of those games, at home and away against Exeter Chiefs in the Champions Cup, and against Leinster, Ospreys and Connacht in the Guinness PRO14.
He also made his Six Nations debut for Ireland, starting in the finale against Wales in Cardiff.
