Will Greenwood picks his favourite moments from the weekend, including Saracens becoming first team to lift the Champions Cup with a 100 per cent record

Saracens' Champions Cup win in Lyon is one of Will Greenwood's five favourite moments from the weekend.

Saracens became the first English team since 2007 to lift Europe's top prize, while also becoming the first team to win the title after going through the tournament unbeaten in its current format.

"It wasn't the prettiest game," said Greenwood of the final, but Saracens and their fans won't mind as they saw off Racing 92 to claim the spoils in Lyon on Saturday.

It was a phenomenal effort from Mark McCall's men, who were spurred on by the heartbreak of past failings, according to skipper Brad Barritt.

Elsewhere in France there was more eye-catching rugby as the Paris 7s played out, with the final producing a stunning comeback as Samoa defeated Fiji to claim the series points right at the death.

Below the equator there were more southern hemisphere stars on show as the Highlanders downed the Crusaders while All Blacks coach Steve Hansen watched on from the stands.
