The Crusaders bounced back from their opening round Super Rugby defeat to beat the Blues 28-13 in Christchurch.
The seven-time champions hit back after being defeated 27-21 by the Chiefs, and built their victory on a dominant set-piece and some strong running.
Leading the charge was Fiji star Nemani Nadolo, who caused the Blues defence problems all game. Nadolo may not have got onto the score-sheet himself but he certainly created plenty of opportunities, including setting up Kieran Read for his try.
The giant winger fielded a clearance kick from Blues fly-half Ihaia West before handing off Blake Gibson and building up some speed to send Matt Duffie flying!
