Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Bury and AFC Wimbledon.

Bury boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation from League One by claiming a 2-1 home win over AFC Wimbledon.

Middlesbrough loanee George Miller headed Bury into a 17th-minute lead on the rebound from Harry Bunn’s penalty.

The Dons equalised through a Phil Edwards own goal in the 28th minute but Bunn put Bury back in front two minutes before half-time.

That proved enough to make it seven points from nine for the Shakers, who remain bottom but are now nine points from safety.

The hosts threatened to run riot early on as Dons keeper George Long denied Bunn, Miller and Zeli Ismail.

The pressure finally paid off as Jon Meades tripped Danny Mayor and although Long saved Bunn’s spot-kick low to his right, Miller converted the rebound.

Yet the Dons, who slipped to 19th, drew level as Liam Trotter volleyed a corner back towards goal and Edwards sliced his attempted clearance into his own net.

Joe Pigott then fired over for the visitors but Miller laid off for Bunn to force in a close-range shot.

Long then denied Mayor and Bunn before Dons substitute Harry Forrester headed against the post, and Connor Ripley tipped over a Meades header to secure victory.
