Max Ehmer scored three minutes into stoppage time to earn Gillingham a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Peterborough.
Danny Lloyd's 12th goal of the season, a volley from 10 yards after 67 minutes that went through Gills goalkeeper Tomas Holy's legs, looked like giving the Posh their first away league win since Boxing Day.
But centre-back Ehmer fired under former Gills loanee Jonathan Bond after Ryan Tafazolli's sliced clearance fell fortuitously to him on the edge of the box to earn his in-form side a point.
Former Gillingham loanee Michael Doughty forced Holy into a good save with a powerful volley from 20 yards in the opening minutes.
Posh forward Omar Bogle had an effort well-blocked by Ehmer following Jack Marriott's surging run into the box, before Liam Shephard fired over from the edge of the area after another quick Peterborough break.
The hosts were controversially denied an equaliser five minutes after Lloyd's opener, as Bond was ruled to have stopped Josh Parker's low shot from point-blank range from crossing the line, but Ehmer's late heroics secured a draw.
