side opened the scoring a minute before half-time when Van La Parra curled an
unstoppable 35-yard effort into the top right-hand corner of the goal, the midfielder’s
first goal since March.
David Wagner’s team had to play more than the final half an hour with only 10
men after Christopher Schindler’s red card for two bookings, although they held
on to record back-to-back top-flight home wins for the first time since November
As a result,
Huddersfield have moved up to 11th in the table, while the visitors
are just two points from safety in 15th after a ninth Premier League
game without a win.
90+4: YELLOW! McClean attempts a flying tackle at Ince, and luckily for the substitute, he misses his opponent otherwise that would have been a certain red.
90+2: SAVES! What a stop by Lossl at full-length to keep out firstly McClean's header and then from the rebound, the Dane gets up to turn Phillips' goal-bound effort behind for a corner. Sensational stuff...
90: The fourth official says we will have a whole SIX MINUTES more to play at a very nervous John Smith's....
87: It is all West Brom now, as you would expect, as the visitors throw the kitchen sink at their hosts, albeit without actually testing Lossl.
84: Hogg chops down Phillips to hand West Brom a free kick near the left-hand corner flag, but once again the Huddersfield defence hold firm to head the ball clear.
81: A worry for Huddersfield with 'keeper Lossl currently down with a leg injury and the hosts having already made all three changes. However, the shot stopper is OK to carry on.
79: SUB! Final change for the hosts as Lowe replaces Malone at full back.
78: SHOT! Rodriguez tries his luck from 25 yards out, but the forward scuffs his effort well wide of the right-hand post.
77: Chance for Mooy to release Hogg on the counter, but the Australian gets his final ball all wrong.
75: Just a quarter of an hour left to play now at a rocking John Smith's, but it could be a rather tense finale to this game you feel.
73: CLOSE! McClean's persistence wins the Baggies a right-wing corner, and after the ball is recycled, Rondon's near-post header flashes inches past the target.
72: Ince does well to win his side a pressure-relieving free kick after a foul by Barry deep inside the West Brom half, who is on a yellow do not forget. However, nothing comes from the set play.
70: YELLOW! Williams picks up a needless booking for kicking the ball away as West Brom win a free kick towards the right edge of the area, but the home defence once again hold firm to clear the danger.
69: A lot of passing at the moment by the Baggies, but with no end product as now Gibbs' run down the left earns the visitors a rare corner....
66: Approaching the midway point of the second half and you get the feeling it is now going to be all West Brom for the remainder of this contest, but can they break down the 10 men of Huddersfield?
Sky Bet still have a number of PRICE BOOSTS on offer including West Brom to win 2-1 which is now 12/1 from 10/1 and Aaron Mooy to score anyime is 40/1 from 33s. Click here for latest match odds!

62: SUBS! And now Huddersfield bring on Williams and Cranie for Van La Parra and Kachunga.
60: SUBS! Pulis reacts to that red by bringing on Rondon, McClean and Phillips for McAuley, Robson-Kanu and Krychowiak.
57: RED CARD! Schindler is sent off after picking up a second yellow for a lunging tackle on Hegazi.
57: West Brom surely need to make some changes, and quickly, if they are to turn this game around?
55: Good period of sustained pressure by the hosts in the last few minutes as they look to double their lead...
53: YELLOW! Barry gets booked for arguing with Mr East.
51: Definitely more pace to West Brom's game in the early stages of the second half as they look to get back into this game.
49: Having just seen a few replays of the free kick leading up to the goal, you can see why the Baggies were so aggrieved at Mr East's decision to award Huddersfield the foul.

GOAL! HUDDERSFIELD 1-0 WEST BROM (Van La Parra, 44)
WHAT A GOAL! Van La Parra has opened the scoring with a sensational 35-yard strike that has curled in past a motionless Foster after Mooy cleverly took a quick free kick just inside their own half. And moments later the ball is in the back of the net as Huddersfield deservedly go ahead, although West Brom are not happy with referee East for giving the hosts that free kick in the first place.
HUDDERSFIELD 0-0 WEST BROM
42: It is a very quiet John Smith's at the moment, but the home faithful have had very little to cheer though in this first half.
39: Huddersfield have now been reduced to attempting shots from fully 40 yards out, with all-too-predictable consequences.
37: SHOT! The Baggies go straight up the other end and Rodriguez tests Lossl with a low shot from the right edge of the box, but it is easily gathered by the Huddersfield 'keeper.
36: SHOT! Lovely turn by Ince on the edge of the box, but his shot is straight at Foster.
36: YELLOW! Nyom's turn now to get cautioned for pulling back Van La Parra.
PIC! There has been very little to separate the two sides so far at the John Smith's.
32: CHANCE! But Rodriguez heads Mooy's resulting free kick behind for a left-wing corner, from which the ball drops invitingly to Ince some 10 yards out, but the midfielder drives wastefully over the bar. Best chance of the game that...
31: YELLOW! Free kick to the hosts in a dangerous position after Hegazi blocks off Van La Parra right on the edge of the box...
30: Robson-Kanu is just having a talking to by Mr East after pulling back Ince on the halfway line and the Welshman is a little lucky there not to get booked.
28: Over halfway through the first period and we are still awaiting out first goal of the game and truth be told, there have been very few real openings so far at the John Smith's.

22: CHANCE! Robson-Kanu's lovely ball releases Rodriguez, but from a tight angle the forward sees his shot blocked by Schindler.
20: Twenty minutes gone then at the John Smith's and while it is still goalless, you feel a first goal of the afternoon is not far away.... cue 0-0 draw!!
