Fulham striker Moussa Dembele's representative is in talks with Wolfsburg and Monaco about a pre-contract agreement, Sky Sports News HQ understands.
Dembele's contract with the Whites expires in the summer and the 19-year-old is free to talk to other clubs.
His agent Mamadi Fofana told Sky Sports News HQ: "We will not discuss Moussa's situation publicly out of respect for Fulham.
"Moussa is just focused on finishing the season with Fulham."
It is understood Fulham would prefer to keep hold of Dembele for the rest of the season rather than sell him in the current window and the player is keen to help the Whites move up the table.
Fulham would be due compensation in the summer from whoever Dembele decides to join, agreed either privately or via tribunal, because of the forward's homegrown player status.
The west London club are also under a transfer embargo in January, but it is understood they do not feel they are in a position where they have to sell the Frenchman in the current window.
Dembele has been offered a new four-year deal to stay at Craven Cottage but, although he is keen to remain at the club for the rest of the campaign and help them push up the table under new head coach Slavisa Jokanovic, he is unlikely to sign the new terms on offer.
