Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj scored twice in his first appearance since returning to Old Trafford.
Januzaj had his season-long loan at Borussia Dortmund cut short at the start of January after making just 12 appearances for the German club.
He did not start any Budesliga games for Dortmund, but appeared keen to impress during the 4-0 victory over Southampton U21s.
The 20-year-old opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time with a deflected 20-yard shot at Leigh Sports Village.
He also won the penalty from which Will Keane scored his second of the night - taking his tally to five in the last two matches.
And Keane repaid the favour by providing the assist for the Belgian to smash home his second goal 11 minutes from time and shortly before Januzaj was withdrawn.
