Alex Teixeira, Saido Berahino and Mathieu Debuchy to move? View from the trading room

Transfer targets

Which players could seal moves before the January transfer deadline? We get the view from the trading room...

Plenty of deals remain in the balance with just a few days left before the window shuts on Monday.

Here's a look at five that could still be done before the 11pm deadline, according to Sky Bet's transfer markets...

Alex Teixeira

Liverpool and Shakhtar might have failed so far to agree a fee for the £35m-valued Brazilian but the current odds offer hope a deal will still be done. Sky Bet report that their market on the 26-year-old attacking midfielder's future has been more volatile than any other in the current transfer window, with odds on a move being completed as short as 1/5 on Monday before drifting out to 11/4 on Wednesday. The current weight of money on Jurgen Klopp getting his man has seen the price come back into 6/4, while he's now 1/2 to remain at Shakhtar.

Sky Bet odds suggest: Joins Liverpool

Saido Berahino

Berahino has repeatedly been linked with a move away from West Brom but Tottenham failed to land the striker in the summer and, according to Sky sources, would face a struggle to do so this time. The 22-year-old forward has not started since October and failed to make an impact as a substitute in last Saturday's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa. The odds suggest a move to White Hart Lane could still happen at 5/1, despite Spurs reportedly still being some way off meeting a £25m valuation, while Newcastle are now shorter at 7/2 to sign the striker.

Sky Bet odds suggest: Stays at West Brom

Ross McCormack

Middlesbrough are keen to boost their attacking options in pursuit of promotion to the Premier League and have long been keen on Fulham's record signing Ross McCormack. Having failed to land Jordan Rhodes in the summer, Boro are expected by the bookmakers to win the race to secure 17-goal McCormack, who has submitted a transfer request and is 4/5 to remain at Craven Cottage beyond the close of the window. Fulham are also seemingly up against it to hold on to the services of another striker, 19-year-old Moussa Dembele, with Spurs 1/4 to secure his services. The youngster's contact expires in the summer and Mauricio Pochettino has him marked as one of a number of targets as he seeks potential back-up for Harry Kane.

Sky Bet odds suggest: Joins Middlesbrough

Bafetimbi Gomis

Newcastle's defensive record is the third-worst in the Premier League, but after completing the signing of Andros Townsend, they are now being linked with another attacking option in Swansea's Bafetimbi Gomis (5/4). The Frenchman has struggled to fill the void left by Wilfried Bony at the Liberty Stadium, scoring just five times this season, and his exit could pave the way for the Swans to move for Blackburn's Jordan Rhodes if the odds are to be believed. Blackburn's leading scorer is 9/4 to head to South Wales, while Middlesbrough are 3/1 to secure his services.

Sky Bet odds suggest: Joins Newcastle

Mathieu Debuchy

Sunderland have endured even more troubles than Newcastle at the back this season, conceding a league-high 46 times - an average of two goals a game. Mathieu Debuchy is the man expected to be called upon to come to the rescue with odds of 4/6 on him heading to Wearside, although fellow strugglers Aston Villa are also thought to be in contention at 15/8. The right-back has played just twice in the Premier League this season amid the emergence of 20-year-old Hector Bellerin.

Sky Bet odds suggest: Joins Sunderland
