Chelsea insist the club will pay tribute to John Terry at their award ceremony on Friday night.

Reports suggested the tribute had been cancelled, which led to speculation that the club captain may not be leaving.

Sky Sports News HQ understands it will still take place, but it is focused on the fact Terry has made 700 appearances for the Stamford Bridge club, rather than the fact he may have played his last Chelsea game.

Terry, 35, has yet to be offered a contract extension at the club he has been at since the age of 14.
