Neil Warnock to hold talks with Cardiff over manager position

Neil Warnock will hold talks with Cardiff City in the next 24 hours over their vacant managerial position, according to Sky sources.
The Bluebirds sacked Paul Trollope as their manager on Tuesday following their poor start to the Sky Bet Championship season.
Trollope, who was only appointed as Cardiff boss in May, leaves the club in 23rd spot in the table having won just two of his 11 league matches in charge.
Warnock has been out of work since leaving Rotherham at the end of last season after guiding them to safety, finishing nine points clear of the Championship relegation zone.
The 67-year-old has previously led Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers to promotion to the Premier League.
If Warnock does agree to succeed Trollope as Cardiff manager his first game in charge could be against Bristol City on October 14, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.
