Dwight Gayle has won the PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Month award for October.
Just under 12,000 votes were cast in the poll, which was held on the Sky Sports website and apps, with Gayle coming way out in front with a whopping 9,042 votes.
Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Hooper came second in the poll with 846 votes ahead of Brighton forward Sam Baldock in third with 751. Rounding off the top six were Cardiff's Peter Whittingam (669), QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo (399) and Preston's Paul Gallagher (285).
The six candidates were chosen by our expert panel, which included Sky Sports pundits Ian Holloway, Peter Beagrie and Paul Merson, Mike Riley - general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board, and Malcolm Clarke, chairman of the Football Supporters' Federation.
And it is Gayle, who has scored four goals for Newcastle in October, who has come out on top thanks to your votes, which have been verified by an independent party.
