Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not face any action for an alleged elbow on Yohan Cabaye during Manchester United's win over Crystal Palace.
Ibrahimovic, who scored a late goal to secure United a 2-1 victory on Wednesday night, appeared to catch the Palace midfielder with his flailing left arm during the second half.
Referee Craig Pawson did not see the incident, so it was referred to the FA's panel of former match officials on Thursday morning.
The panel, comprising of three ex-officials, viewed footage of the incident and decided that the Swede was not guilty of violent conduct.
All three of the panel members would have had to rule the incident should have been punished with a straight red card for any action to have been taken against Ibrahimovic.
The incident was one of a number of controversial moments to occur during the match at Selhurst Park.
In the build-up to United's opening goal, Ibrahimovic appeared to handle the ball before Paul Pogba poked home from an offside position.
Marcos Rojo was also fortunate to escape with only a yellow card for a two-footed challenge on Palace winger Wilfried Zaha while, in the second half, Juan Mata had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside.
