Who were the best Premier League players from the weekend games? We take a look at the man-of-the-match performances in our hotlist.

Chelsea sit seven points clear at the top of the table after a club record-equalling 11th win in a row against Crystal Palace, with second place Manchester City coming from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 on Nissan Super Sunday

Elsewhere, current Premier League champions Leicester also mounted a comeback with 10 men as they drew 2-2 with Stoke on Saturday while Sunderland took themselves off the bottom of the Premier League table with a 1-0 win against Watford.

But who were the stand-out players from each game over the weekend? We take a look in the weekly Premier League hotlist...

Azpilicueta put in another brilliant performance as Chelsea continued their winning run at Crystal Palace.

The 27-year-old was a key figure again for the Blues as they racked up their ninth clean sheet in their last 11 games. He also popped up with the crucial assist for Diego Costa's winning header and he drew plenty of praise from the Premier League Live panel.

Jamie Redknapp said: "Against Christian Benteke, who has got a clear height advantage, he never lost a header. He's such a clever defender."

Ashley Cole, who lost his place at Chelsea to Azpilicueta, was also impressed: "He's strong, he's fast, he doesn't want to be beaten and if you have that mentality you will go a long way. That's him."

Gaston Ramirez (MIDDLESBROUGH 3-0 Swansea)

Ramirez missed Middlesbrough's 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool last Wednesday with injury, but his return to their starting line-up proved key when Swansea City visited the Riverside on Saturday afternoon.

While striker Alvaro Negredo may have grabbed the post-match headlines due to his first-half double, it was the attacking midfielder who ran the show in the north east until his substitution to a standing ovation just past the hour-mark.

Middlesbrough 3-0 Swansea

The Uruguay international firstly sent Adam Clayton on his way in the lead-up to Boro's opening goal, before then capping off a fine display by curling an inch-perfect cross for Marten de Roon to side-foot home the hosts' third goal.

Erik Pieters (STOKE 2-2 Leicester)

Stoke's dynamic defender will not look back on Saturday's draw with Leicester fondly. Two goals up and seemingly cruising to victory against the stuttering Premier League champions, the Potters were caught cold as Leonardo Ulloa and Daniel Amartey snatched a point for the Foxes.

Stoke 2-2 Leicester

Stoke had dominated the majority of the game at the bet365 Stadium until their collapse in the final 14 minutes, with Pieters' willingness to get forward and eagerness to cross at every opportunity key to their dominance. Had some of his team-mates shown similar desire to get on the end of his crosses, they would have been out of Leicester's reach.

Adnan Januzaj (SUNDERLAND 1-0 Watford)

Adnan Januzaj hasn't had the brightest of starts to the season, having seen red against Tottenham in September and missed three games through injury in October.

But against Watford, the 21-year-old looked lively and was playing with a confidence so seldom seen from the Manchester United loanee.

Sunderland 1-0 Watford

The Belgian did brilliantly to initiate the attack which led to Sunderland's winning goal, and the winger is now justifying his place in David Moyes' starting line-up.

Cheikhou Kouyate (WEST HAM 1-0 Hull)

West Ham's victory over Hull at London Stadium was firmly placed in the 'result over performance' pile, but another positive was the performance of Kouyate, who slotted in at centre-back in between Winston Reid and Angelo Ogbonna.

West Ham 1-0 Hull

In an open game, Kouyate routinely got West Ham out of jail with some last-ditch defending as the hosts pushed up, and was commanding in an otherwise uninspiring defensive showing from Slaven Bilic's side.

He won possession a team-high eight times, completed over 90 per cent of his passes and made a nuisance of himself in the opposition area to boot.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (West Brom 0-2 MAN UTD)

Another game, another double for the man who told the world he would be the "King of Manchester" when he arrived in the summer, and is certainly proving to be one of the shrewdest pieces of business in the Premier League.

Ibrahimovic has now netted seven goals in his last six league games, with his contribution enough for Jose Mourinho's side to go eight games unbeaten in the top flight after a so-so start.

West Brom 0-2 Manchester Utd

He continued to be a menace for United even when he wasn't firing in goals - and got himself in a spot of bother on a few occasions - but continues to prove that he can cut it at the top level of the game.

Jay Rodriguez (Bournemouth 1-3 SOUTHAMPTON)

Jay Rodriguez fired Southampton to their first away victory in the Premier League since September with a decisive second-half double at Bournemouth.

Bournemouth 1-3 Southampton

Rodriguez, who rejected a loan move when boss Claude Puel joined Saints in the summer, finally looks to be over the serious knee and foot injuries that have dogged his last two years at St Mary's. He came alive after his first goal and then moved on to produce a sensational volley that decided the tie.

Raheem Sterling (MAN CITY 2-1 Arsenal)

His winner is owed in parts to Kevin De Bruyne's world class cross-field ball on the half volley, but man of the match Raheem Sterling is back to his best after a quiet few weeks.

Sterling was on fire while City were unbeaten for the first month-and-a-half of the campaign, but took a back seat as criticism of Pep Guardiola sat firmly in the front.

Manchester City 2-1 Arsenal

Sunday saw Sterling's first match-winning goal since Boxing Day 2014, and the manner in which Nacho Monreal stood off the 22-year-old for the strike was testament to his performance at the Etihad.

With pace, trickery and tenacious pressuring around the Arsenal men, Sterling's performance had more than just a winning goal.

Danny Rose (TOTTENHAM 2-1 Burnley)

Tottenham 2-1 Burnley

Danny Rose was a constant danger down the left flank for Tottenham as his pace and directness caused Burnley's right-hand side of Matt Lowton and George Boyd serious problems throughout the afternoon.

Rose played a number of threatening crosses into the box and won the game for his team with a powerful strike in the 71st minute.
