EFL sponsors Sky Bet will fund a return trip for travelling Cardiff fans after their clash at Brighton was scuppered by the weather.

Cardiff's game against Brighton & Hove Albion was postponed due to fog and left over 600 Bluebirds stranded on the south coast.

Sky Bet, the title sponsor of the EFL have stepped in, and will put on free travel for all of the fans who made the 200-mile journey tonight for the rearranged fixture - the date has yet to be confirmed.

Sky Bet sponsorship manager David Tweed said: "It's devastating for those fans to have made such a long trip only to have the game called off because of the weather.

"We thought we'd make their journey home a little brighter, in the knowledge the rearranged fixture will have been taken care of."
