John Terry has issued a rallying call after Chelsea's winning run was ended by Tottenham on Wednesday.

Dele Alli found the target with two headers to secure a 2-0 victory for Spurs at White Hart Lane and stop the Blues from winning a 14th consecutive Premier League match.

The victory lifted Tottenham back into the top four and prevented Antonio Conte's side from extending their five-point lead at the top of the table.

Blues captain Terry, whose season has been hampered by injury and last played for the Blues in the 5-0 thrashing of Everton two months ago, took to social media in the wake of Wednesday's derby defeat.

"Naturally we're disappointed to lose tonight, but let's not forget what a great run of games we have been on and the attitude and performances we have shown in these games to put us in this position," Terry posted on Instagram along with a screenshot of Chelsea's winning matches.
