We have compiled a ranked list of the Premier League's ultimate journeymen, according to analysts from the simulation game Football Manager.

Chelsea's Diego Costa is among the pack, having had two spells at Braga and Atletico Madrid, along with moves to Penafiel, Celta, Albacete, Valladolid, Rayo Vallecano and Chelsea.

West Ham are reportedly interested in signing evergreen Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe, but he fails to make our list - despite playing for eight clubs during his career.

Outside of the Premier League, Jefferson Louis of National League South club Oxford City is considered to be the world's most-transferred player with 37 spells at 33 different clubs.
