With many of the top leagues in Europe having come to a conclusion over the weekend, the summer transfer window is on the horizon.

Spain

James Rodriguez may not be on the move to Manchester United after all. With the English club's Champions League qualification dependent upon the outcome of a Europa League final against Ajax on Wednesday, French giants Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as competitors for the playmaker's signature. A move away from Lyon appears imminent for Alexandre Lacazette, who top scored for his side in 2016/17 with a 28 goals from 30 Ligue 1 appearances. The striker has admitted that a move to Atletico Madrid would be "hard to refuse", suggesting that his compatriot Antoine Griezmann has been trying to persuade him to join the club. (AS)

Germany

Newly-promoted Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion are in negotiations to sign Hertha Berlin's Genki Haraguchi. The Japanese winger's contract with the German club is set to expire at the end of next season. (Kicker)

Italian creator Vincenzo Grifo could be on the verge of leaving Freiburg for Hertha Berlin or Borussia Monchengladbach. The 24-year-old scored six goals and set up eight to help his side to a seventh-place finish, but club president Fritz Keller says: "He has said goodbye, unfortunately." (Sport Bild)

Italy

Mateo Musacchio has been an AC Milan transfer target for quite some time, and the Argentine centre-back could complete a move to the Italian giants this summer. A fee of €18 million has been agreed with Villarreal and a four-year contract is set to be agreed with the player. (La Gazzetta dello Sport)

Despite having won a record-breaking sixth consecutive league title, Juventus transfer rumours abound. The name on top of their list of targets is Lyon's Corentin Tolisso, but Roma's Leandro Paredes, Lazio's Keita Balde Diao and Fiorentina's Federico Bernardeschi are also of interest. (Tuttosport)

Monaco striker Valere Germain could soon be on his way to Marseille. The player's representatives recently met with Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta, who hopes to pair the forward with Swansea's Bafetimbi Gomis. (L'Equipe)

Tiemoue Bakayoko has been one of the revelations of the season for Monaco, prompting interest from several of Europe's top clubs, including Chelsea. However, the defensive midfielder is unlikely to join Paris Saint-Germain, having said: "I cannot leave Monaco to go to PSG…I cannot [join] a team that has finished behind me." (Le10Sport)
