Bayern Munich want to make Alexis Sanchez their highest paid player and are willing to offer the Arsenal forward a £350,000-a-week deal, the Daily Mirror reports today.

The Germans are willing to pay the Gunners £40m for the Chilean forward, according the newspaper, who also say Sanchez' agent Fernando Felicevich has already held talks with the Bundesliga side and they are confident of getting the deal done.

Indeed, Sanchez himself has said that his future will lie with his agent as he look to sit down with Arsenal to discuss the future of the forward.

"I'm looking at what my agent is doing," he told Chilean media as reported by the Daily Mail. "For now, I'm focused on the [Confederations] Cup in Russia and trying to do well.

"The truth is that my agent will see to it. He knows and he will sit down with the club to look for the best option for me. I'd like a lot of things but I'm only thinking about the national team."

The 27-year-old made just eight league starts for the Gunners last term and his future was thrown into even more doubt with the arrival of Sead Kolasinac earlier this week.

But he is attracting plenty of interest from Premier League clubs, with West Brom, Newcastle, Stoke and Brighton eyeing the defender.

Rumoured Arsenal target Henry Onyekuru has also sent a big message to any potential suitors, saying he wants playing time at wherever he may end up this summer.

"The first and most important thing for a player is to get playing time," he told ESPN. "I'm still young and I still have a long career to pursue but now I need to play.

"My agents are in talks with top clubs in the Premier League, Bundesliga, French league and others. If they accept our terms, then I'll make a decision.

"It's not just about going to a big club and sitting on the bench. It's not good for me, or being loaned to a club where I won't play or where I will struggle to play.

"The money can come later but for now, I just want to play to improve, not just to play for a big club."
