The transfer window is hotting up and our friends at Football Whispers have rounded up all the latest transfer rumours from across Europe.
Spain

Premier League winners Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Real Madrid defender Danilo. The 25-year-old, who is an understudy to Dan Carvajal, will cost Antonio Conte's men close to the €30million mark. Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane wanted to keep the Brazilian but couldn't offer him the first-team football that Chelsea can. (AS)
Barcelona transfer target Paulinho hopes his future can be resolved this week. The Catalan giants are interested in the 28-year-old powerhouse to provide cover in a central area for Ivan Rakitic.
However, according to ESPN, his club, Guangzhou Evergrande, don't want the Brazilian to leave with chairman Xu Jiayin saying: "Regarding Paulinho, there is nothing to discuss until the end of the season." (Marca)
One-time Liverpool transfer target Vitolo is set to join Atletico Madrid after a dramatic U-turn saw him go back on his word with current club Sevilla. The Andalusians' president José Castro announced on Monday the winger would be extending his stay with the club even though a deal wasn't signed.
A last-ditch call from the club in the capital was enough to swing it in their favour and the Diego Simeone's men are prepared to pay his €36million release clause to land him. (AS)
Germany
Former Blackburn Rovers striker Anthony Modeste has started legal proceedings against his current club FC Koln. The 29-year-old was excluded from training after the club allowed him to negotiate a deal with Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian. Leicester City have parted ways with goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler a little over a year after signing him. The 28-year-old has returned to the Bundesliga with recently promoted VfB Stuttgart in a deal reportedly worth €3.5million. France
Paris Saint-Germain have beaten Manchester City to the signature of Dani Alves. The Brazilian looked set to reunite with his former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad but the French team did enough, with a little help from his wife, to land the marauding right-back. (L'Equipe)
