European Paper Talk: Barcelona adamant Neymar will stay

Our friends at Football Whispers round-up the latest transfer news from the European papers as speculation linking Barcelona star Neymar with a switch to Paris Saint-Germain continues to grow.

SPAIN

Barcelona have moved to deny that star forward Neymar will be departing this summer. The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to PSG, but Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez said: "That's not going to happen. We have not had any offers for any player in our squad and no club will pay the release clause." (Football Espana)

Real Madrid right-back Danilo could be the subject of a Premier League bidding war this summer. The 26-year-old is a Chelsea target but the English champions have yet to agree a deal for the player. They could now face competition from Manchester City, who are keen to sign one more quality full-back after the addition of Kyle Walker. (Marca)

Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles could be set for a move back to Spain. The shot-stopper has moved down the pecking order at Goodison Park following the signing of Jordan Pickford. He has turned down a contract renewal and Deportivo La Coruna are interested. (Marca)

ITALY

Manchester United target Nemanja Matic could be on his way to Juventus. The Italian champions are in pole position to sign the Serbian, who is their preferred central midfield option ahead of both Liverpool's Emre Can and Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Andrea Belotti is AC Milan's number one striking target, ahead of Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata, but Torino are holding out for €100m (£88.5m) for their star player. (gianlucadimarzio.com)

Chelsea and AC Milan target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to remain with Borussia Dortmund. The Gabonese hitman had been persistently linked with a move away this summer but instead will stay with the German club for a fifth season. (Kicker)

Spain U21 centre-back Jorge Mere could join Bundesliga side Koln. The Sporting Gijon central defender has been subject of interest from Malaga and Sampdoria but a move to Germany may be on the cards. (Kicker)

Versatile Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller has emerged as a Liverpool target, however, there is also interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus. The player's position with the German champions is under threat following the arrival of James Rodriguez and, after an underwhelming 2016/17 campaign, all parties could be more open to a move. FRANCE

Paris Saint-Germain remains a possible destination for Arsenal key man Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has been linked to Manchester City in recent weeks, though the Gunners are not keen on selling him to a Premier League rival. (Foot Mercato)

Saint-Etienne are closing in on a deal for Newcastle United target Yann Karamoh. They have agreed a transfer fee of €6m (£5.3m) plus bonuses with Caen and now need hold talks with the player. (L'Equipe)
