Barcelona are pessimistic about Neymar's future even though the forward has not yet confirmed what he wants to do. The Brazil international scored the deciding goal in a 1-0 win over Manchester United to extend his run of form in pre-season. (Sport)

However, the Catalans have been given a boost after Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho informed the club he is willing to take a pay cut to push through a move. The 25-year-old only signed a new £150,000-per-week deal at Anfield in January, which saw him become the club's highest earner as a reward for his fine form. (Sport)

Real Betis are hopeful of signing Middlesbrough's Gaston Ramirez. Talks between Betis, the player's representatives and Boro are on the right tracks but the move is far from complete. The 26-year-old has a contract with the club until 2019 and would not come cheap. (AS)

Sevilla are taking positive steps in their attempt to bring Jesus Navas back to the club: "We sent a proposal and are awaiting a response," said Sevilla president Jose Castro at Nolito's unveiling. Besiktas president Fikret Orman confirmed that the club are in talks with Valencia to sign transfer-listed Alvaro Negredo on loan. The Turkish giants are ready to pay Negredo's £6.25m-per-year salary, but the La Liga side also want to include a mandatory purchase clause to be met at the end of the season. (Marca)

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed midfielder Renato Sanches wants to play first-team football. Leon Goretzka is said to have finalised a move to Bayern Munich. The 22-year-old, a Liverpool transfer target, is moving to Bavaria in the summer of 2018 according to German football expert Raphael Honigstein, who described the deal as "done" on his Twitter account. (Kicker)

RB Leipzig attacker Emil Forsberg, who has spent the summer flirting with AC Milan, has put to bed claims his future is uncertain and revealed he's staying with the Bundesliga club: "What did I say bad about Leipzig? Nothing. I always talked positively about RB. I'm fully motivated and focused and want to play an even better season with RB than the past." Juventus are making move to sign Kostas Manolas from rivals Roma just 12 months after convincing Miralem Pjanic to swap Rome for Turin. They view him as an ideal replacement for Leonardo Bonucci. (Calciomercato)

Inter Milan are prepared to sanction a £45m deal to bring Arturo Vidal to the San Siro. The box-to-box midfielder spent time in Serie A with Juventus and became one of the best midfielders in the world during his spell in Italy. Anwar El Ghazi could be heading to AC Milan. Mino Raiola tried to broker a deal last summer but at the time the Serie A side weren't interested. Blaise Matuidi, an Everton transfer target, has decided to join Juventus. The Serie A side and Paris Saint-Germain, Matuidi's current employers, are now negotiating a deal. Despite being linked with world record moved to Real Madrid and Manchester City, Kylian Mbappe could sign a contract extension with Monaco. The French club are adamant the teenage sensation hasn't been given permission to move elsewhere and, according to vice-president Vadim Vasilyev, is in talks over extending his stay with the club.
