With the transfer window now shut across most of Europe, the fallout from deadline day is still taking place.
Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the continental media for the latest news and transfer rumours.
Spain
Barcelona are moving closer to the extension of Andres Iniesta's contract. The midfielder's current deal expires next summer and had attracted interest from Juventus, but he is now set to stay with Barca for the foreseeable future. (Mundo Deportivo)
Atletico Madrid have offered former Manchester United target Nicolas Gaitan to four Turkish clubs: Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Istanbul Basaksehir. The Argentine has failed to settle in the Spanish capital and the proceeds from his sale could be used to fund a move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa in January. (Diario AS)
Another player who could soon be swapping Atletico for Turkish football is Luciano Vietto. The striker has struggled to convince since joining from Villarreal and is currently the club's fourth-choice forward. Fenerbahce are keen on the 23-year-old. (Diario AS)
Italy
With Pepe Reina's contract set to expire next summer, Napoli are in the process of identifying the Spaniard's successor. Monaco No 1 Danijel Subasic is the most recent addition to their goalkeeping shortlist, as he would bring a wealth of European experience. (La Gazzetta dello Sport)
Former Liverpool target Domenico Berardi is worth at least €40million, according to Sassuolo patron Giorgio Squinzi. The forward signed a new deal with the club in August despite being an Inter Milan transfer target and wanted by Roma, with the price tag seen as a stumbling block. But Squinzi argues that "he's probably worth more". (La Gazzetta dello Sport)
Inter Milan are considering a move for Atletico Madrid centre-back Jose Gimenez. The Italian giants failed to land Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi or Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala towards the end of the summer transfer window and may now turn their attention to the Uruguayan, whose contract is up next summer. Germany
Mark Uth, who was once the subject of Tottenham transfer talk, has not ruled out staying at Hoffenheim, despite the fact his contract is set to expire next summer. The 26-year-old has hit two goals in four appearances so far this season. (Kicker)
France
Marseille brought in former Fulham striker Konstantinos Mitroglou towards the end of the summer window on a loan deal with an option to buy. It has been reported that, in order to acquire full rights to the striker, the French club will have to pay €12.5million. (L'Equipe)
