Bayern Munich have already decided who will replace Carlo Ancelotti as the club's next permanent manager. Willy Sagnol has been acting as caretaker manager since the Italian was sacked, but president Uli Hoeness has revealed that they now know who will take over for the rest of the season, and the decision has also been discussed with former manager Pep Guardiola. The Spaniard, who is said to have agreed with their choice, is an admirer of Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann. (Kicker)
Nagelsmann is Hoeness' preferred choice to take over from Ancelotti, but chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is said to prefer Tuchel. The former Dortmund manager has been contacted by the club, but in a telephone interview he did not unequivocally state that he would take the job, and instead issued his own demands around playing style and transfers.
