Barcelona Sporting Club goalkeeper Maximo Banguera was sent off after he cynically wrestled General Diaz defender Wilson Ibarrola to the ground.
The incident occurred in the Copa Sudamericana clash, where Ibarrola counter attacked after General Diaz had cleared a corner. The defender raced clear past the Barcelona back four and only had Banguera to beat.
The goal was gaping as he knocked the ball around the goalkeeper but he was met by a cynical rugby tackle from behind, which stopped the attack and rightly drew a red card for Banguera.
Although Banguera will now face a suspension for his red card, his team ended up drawing the game 0-0.
