Rochdale showed no ill effects from their FA Cup thrashing by Tottenham at Wembley as they moved off the bottom of the League One table with a 3-0 win at Walsall.

Keith Hill's men went to the West Midlands with at least four games to make up on their relegation rivals and they took full advantage after Jim McNulty opened the scoring in the 16th minute.

Ian Henderson added a second for Rochdale after 71 minutes and substitute Mihai-Alexandru Dobre completed the win in style when he lashed home from outside the box three minutes from time.

In League Two, Accrington maintained their promotion push as Billy Kee's penalty on the stroke of half-time gave the home side a tight 1-0 win over Morecambe.

Kee's goal after a Dean Winnard foul proved even more valuable as third-placed Notts County lost further ground after being held to a 1-1 draw at Cheltenham.

Ollie Palmer grabbed a last-minute equaliser for Lincoln in a controversial ending to their 1-1 draw at play-off contenders Mansfield. Joel Byrom put Mansfield in front after 49 minutes but - after Palmer equalised - tempers frayed and both Lincoln's Luke Waterfall and the Stags' Rhys Bennett were sent off in separate incidents.

Forest Green boosted their survival prospects in an entertaining 3-3 draw at Newport. Dan Butler scored a goal at each end in the opening nine minutes, cancelling out an own goal with a leveller for the hosts, before Paul Hayes put Newport in front.
