Wigan stormed to the top of League One with a 4-1 win at Rochdale as Blackburn were held by Gillingham.
Dan Burn headed the Latics in front in the first half and then James Vaughan, Michael Jacobs and Will Grigg fired three goals in the space of eight second-half minutes.
