Fernando Torres scores twice in his final game for Atletico Madrid

Fernando Torres has marked his final game for Atletico Madrid with his 128th and 129th goals for the club against Eibar.

The striker, who ended his second spell with his boyhood club on Sunday, grabbed the equalising goal for Atletico in their last game of the season in front of his home fans at Wanda Metropolitano, before putting them in front on the hour mark.

His finish capped a fine back-to-front move from Diego Simeone's side, and cancelled out Kike's 35th-minute opener, and went on to turn the game on its head even after team-mate Lucas Hernandez had been shown a red card.

Eibar would strike again though, with Ruben Pena equalising for the La Liga minnows to earn them a 2-2 draw and give them a creditable ninth-place finish in La Liga, while Atletico end the season second.

Torres has made 404 appearances since his debut as a 17-year-old in May 2001, back when the Spanish capital side were in the country's second tier, and has also represented Liverpool, Chelsea and Milan during his career.
