Chris Wilder says a deal to take Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks to Bournemouth is ‘well on its way’.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder gave an update to Sky Sports News on Thursday, saying: "David is on the way to Bournemouth to have a medical and discuss personal terms.

"The deal looks well on its way. If both clubs have agreed a fee - that usually happens before a medical takes place and the personal [terms] are discussed.

"I should imagine it will kick on today."

Brooks had signed a new four-year contract at Sheffield United in October 2017.
