Liverpool's Mohamed Salah tops the Sky Sports Power Rankings

Liverpool's Mo Salah has topped the Sky Sports Power Rankings for a third matchday running.

Salah started on the bench at Stoke on Wednesday but came on in the 67th minute and scored twice to secure a 3-0 win and extend his season league goal tally to 12 goals.

Manchester City recorded their 12 successive league victory with a 2-1 win against Southampton after Kevin De Bruyne (No 2, up one place) opened the scoring and Raheem Sterling (No 6, up 15 places) netted a stoppage-time winner.

Meanwhile, neighbours Manchester United maintained an eight-point gap from City after a 4-2 win at Watford, with Ashley Young (No 3, up 37 places) breaking the deadlock before doubling the lead with a spectacular free-kick.

Wayne Rooney (No 4, up 186 places) claimed a league-high 7,111 points from matchday 14 alone, hitting a hat-trick during Everton's 4-0 win over West Ham - including a goal-of-the-season contender from inside his own half.

Burnley continued their remarkable form with a 2-1 win at Bournemouth, moving up to sixth spot in the Premier League, with Robbie Brady (No 7, up 54 places) striking a match-winning low drive from distance.
