Having beaten Chelsea in dramatic fashion on Saturday, the Black Cats knew victory against the Toffees would guarantee top-flight football at the the Stadium of Light for another season.

And they cantered to a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Patrick van Aanholt and a Lamine Kone brace as Norwich, and North East rivals Newcastle, dropped in the Sky Bet Championship.
