Jamie Carragher had his say on Manchester's current football situation live on Soccer AM ahead of Saturday afternoon's derby.
The former Liverpool defender was joined by United legend and fellow Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville to preview the game, which Manchester City went on to win 2-1 at Old Trafford.
When asked about the battle between City manager Pep Guardiola and old foe Jose Mourinho who is currently at Manchester United, he came up with a surprising admission about the city.
It prompted a delighted response from former defender Neville - with the two often squaring up when their sides met during their playing days - and laughter from Helen, Fenners and their guests in the studio.
During the game, Kevin De Bruyne hit home after 15 minutes with Kelechi Iheanacho doubling the lead 20 minutes later, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic pulling a goal back for the visitors just before half-time.
