Harry Kane's six-goal September sees him lead a list of the Premier League's most lethal finishers up for the Player of the Month award.

Big-money signings Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) and Alvaro Morata (Chelsea) each scored four goals during the month and join the Tottenham forward, who had gone his third August in a row without finding the net.

Manchester City sit top of the Premier League on goal difference, though, with Sergio Aguero having fired them to four wins out of four in September - scoring five goals and adding three assists during that period - and earning a spot among the contenders in the process.

Aguero's team-mate, Kevin de Bruyne, also features among the high-profile names, having contributed three assists in City's free-scoring run, also scoring the winner in their vital 1-0 win away at Chelsea on the final day of the month.

Newly-promoted sides Newcastle and Brighton also have representatives among the list of nominees.
