Italy

Chelsea are ready to activate the €36m (£31.5m) release clause in the contract of Kostas Manolas, with Maurizio Sarri keen on the Roma defender (Corriere dello Sport).

Juventus are raising funds to make a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Around €35m (£30.7m) has been raised through the sale of Rolando Mandragora, Alberto Cerri and Emil Audero, with a further €55m (£48.2m) raised through the sale of Moise Kean, Stefano Sturaro and Marko Pjaca. The Bianconeri will use that money to move for the Serbian international. (Tuttosport).

Javier Pastore is expected to complete a move to Roma in the coming days, with the Serie A side also interested in RB Leipzig and Sweden international Emil Forsberg as well as Ajax's Hakim Ziyech (Gazzetta dello Sport).

Juventus are interested in entering the bidding war which is starting to brew over Jerome Boateng. However, the Bianconeri are only willing to offer €30m (£26m) for the centre-back, which would be surpassed by both Manchester City and Manchester United (Gazzetta di Parma).

Following the signing of Emre Can on Thursday, Juventus will now turn their full attention to completing a €28m (£24.5m) deal for Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo (Tuttosport).

Spain

Real Madrid could make a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara should Mateo Kovacic decide to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. New manager Julen Lopetegui has a strong relationship with Thiago and that could lure him to the Spanish capital (Marca).

Lopetegui has made his first transfer request to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, asking that Mexican international Hector Herrera be signed this summer. Lopetegui worked with the 28-year-old during his time at Porto (Reforma).

Luca Zidane is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer following the exit of his father Zinedine Zidane and the signing of 19-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrew Lunin. He could go out on loan like his brother, Enzo Zidane, did last season (Marca).

France

Paris Saint-Germain's fire sale could continue with the departure of left-back Yuri Berichiche. The Spaniard joined for €13m (£11.4m) last summer and now Athletic Bilbao are willing to pay the French side between £17-26m to take him back to La Liga. (Le Parisien).

Abdou Diallo will visit Lyon today after visiting Borussia Dortmund yesterday. The Mainz 05 defender must made a decision between the two clubs (L'Equipe).

Portugal

Emiliano Viviano has signed a three-year contract to join Sporting Lisbon from Sampdoria. The announcement of the former Arsenal goalkeeper's arrival will likely be made on Friday (O Jogo).
