All the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Sunday, June 4.

Liverpool remain hopeful of reaching a contract solution with Emre Can despite an approach from Juventus, the Mail on Sunday reports.

The Germany international has one year left on his current deal, and there have been questions over his future once Jordan Henderson returns to action.

The Sunday Express also says that the Reds are ready to steal a march on Premier League rivals Arsenal and Man Utd by snatching £50m-rated Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette from under their noses.

The Frenchman was expected to make a move to Atletico Madrid this summer but the La Liga club saw a FIFA transfer ban upheld last week, leaving the door open for Lacazette to move elsewhere.
