Barcelona are prepared to spend £140m to finally land Philippe Coutinho, according to various reports.
The Mirror claims the Reds want most of the money up front and are keen to avoid a repeat of the summer where the base figure was low and had "unrealistic add-ons".
Liverpool are not chasing replacements for Coutinho at this stage and have made no contact with Monaco regarding summer target Thomas Lemar, reports The Telegraph.
