We round up the latest Liverpool transfer rumours on Wednesday, May 23.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says any club wanting to sign reported Liverpool target Nabil Fekir "need to be very rich".

Attacking midfielder Fekir scored 23 goals in 40 appearances last season for Lyon, earning him a place in the France squad for the World Cup.

"There has been no contact at all with Liverpool, nor with any other club," Aulas told SFR. "I haven't talked about his future with him at all.

"Nabil also really wants to stay after qualifying [for the Champions League]. We're going to talk it through calmly. For the moment, nothing has been decided. You'll have to be very rich to recruit Nabil Fekir this year."

New Rangers manager Steven Gerrard wants to sign 18-year-old Welsh striker Ben Woodburn on loan from Liverpool, say the Daily Express.
