Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue says he "would love" to return to the club.

The 32-year-old was released by Galatasaray last summer after spending the entirety of the 2014-15 season playing for the club's U21 side.

Eboue, who left Arsenal to join the Turkish Super Lig side in 2011, believes he was treated unfairly by Galatasaray's  hierarchy after returning to pre-season training in 2014 and being told he was not going to play for the first-team.

"I came back for training and I was told I would not be playing," Eboue was quoted as saying in The Sun.

"The president told the manager at the time not to pick me. The way I was treated was very unfair. We are looking for options and I would love to come back to Arsenal."
