Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney says he has no regrets after snubbing a move to Arsenal last May.

The Daily Record revealed last summer that the Gunners were set to offer £10m bid for the left-back, who was crowned PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Tierney says a short chat with Brendan Rodgers convinced him he had to stay with the Parkhead club after the manager had joined.

Tierney said: "The manager came in last year and I had been told already there was a big bid there. As soon as I trained under him, there was no convincing needed. I was going to stay at Celtic anyway."
