All the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours from across the British and foreign press on Tuesday, June 6.
Sky Sports News HQ understands Juventus have agreed a deal in principle to sign Wojciech Szczesny for €16m (around £14m) from Arsenal.
The Italian champions have reached agreement with the Poland international over a four-year contract worth £3.5m per season.
Szczesny has impressed the domestic double-winners during a two-season spell on loan at rivals Roma, who's club president has said the Gunners goalkeeper wants to stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
"He told me that he wanted to stay with us," James Palotta told radio station SiriusXM. "I'll say more, I was surprised by the fact some of the players I thought had wanted to leave came up to me before and after the final game to say they wanted to remain.
"It's a sign we've got a good group, we just lack some depth and Monchi (director of football) will help us with that."
Arsene Wenger has dropped a major transfer hint on Kylian Mbappe, warning the young Monaco striker that he must join a club where he will be the main man.
In an interview with beIN Sports, he said: "Where do you think he might finish? Somewhere where he has a good chance to play and is sure to play. That is why I think Deschamps made that statement.
"He thinks that he needs to play, but I would say as well on the other hand that the boy has made enough impression to be basically sure a club who spends a £100m for you is basically to make at the start at least the red carpet.
"Nobody will buy a player for a £100m and say, "Come on, sit in the stands."
Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has also put Arsenal on alert as he said a Premier League move would be 'interesting' and commented on the availability of Champions League football.
"Is the Champions League a dealbreaker for my choice? No, but it is important," he said in a Facebook Live chat with Eurosport.
"In making my choice, I will look at my position [in my next club], if there are not too many players, so I won't be benched and I will be able to play. The Premier League is interesting. That does not mean I will go, and that does not mean I will refuse to go."
Nacho Monreal has ruled out a return to Spain and is ready to extend his stay at Arsenal with a number of La Liga clubs said to be interested in his services.
"I am very happy at Arsenal and I feel appreciated because Arsene Wenger has shown confidence in me," he said in quotes carried by The Sun.
"I have two more years left on my contract, with an optional third, and the idea is to stay here. I played in as many games as anyone at the club last season and I have been made to feel an important squad member."
Kieran Gibbs could also be on his way out of the Emirates, with The Sun also reporting that the arrival of Sead Kolasinac could spell the end of his Arsenal career.
Newcastle are said to be interested in the defender but could be put off by the Gunners' £15m valuation, with Gibbs having just a year left on his current deal.
Monaco defender Djibril Sidibe is being lined up as a replacement for Hector Bellerin, should the latter make a move to Barcelona this summer.
The Daily Star says that a number of Premier League clubs have been tracking his progress with the Ligue 1 champions, with Man City and Spurs also said to be interested.
