Arsenal have tabled an offer for Eintracht Frankfurt star Aymen Barkok, according to the Daily Star.
Barkok, who is away with the Germany Under-19s, has three years left on his contract.
Arsenal are confident in seeing off interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea to tie down Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to a new deal, say the Daily Mail.
The Gunners chiefs will reportedly block any Alexis Sanchez move to City, and do not want to see Oxlade-Chamberlain leave for Liverpool.
Sanchez has not asked to leave Arsenal and is expected to remain at the club, according to manager Arsene Wenger.
The Chile international has less than 12 months remaining on his current contract with the Gunners and is yet to sign terms on a fresh deal.
