Unai Emery has paid tribute to Arsene Wenger and hinted the Frenchman could easily end up becoming his successor at Paris Saint-Germain.
Wenger confirmed on Friday that he would be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season after more than two decades at the helm of the Premier League club.
Sky Sports News understands the 68-year-old has no intention of ending his managerial career just yet and there has already been plenty of speculation what Wenger's next role might be.
Paris Saint-Germain is one of the clubs Wenger has been linked with, Emery having been the focus of speculation in recent weeks amid a possible move back to Spain with Real Sociedad.
Asked about Wenger on Saturday, Emery said: "Every year we have a meeting in Nyon with 12 European coaches. And it's a reference for us.
"When we're there, everyone wants to hear what he says because it's a great reference for football. He brought a lot of positive things into the teams he coached, including Arsenal.
"He was there a long time. He spoke well of me when we spoke together. He gave me his support. I have an admiration for him as a person, but especially as a coach.
"He is a coach who has the ability, quality and experience to coach all the best teams in the world. And the PSG is one those teams. So he would be able to train PSG."
