Sky sources understand the deal to take Georges-Kevin N'Koudou from Marseille to Tottenham has been resurrected.

The transfer had appeared to be off last month due to boardroom changes at the Ligue 1 club as well as the structure of the payments.

That was after it was believed the player had undergone a medical at Tottenham and discussed terms over a four-year contract.

Now it seems the move could happen after all, with one source going so far as to say the clubs are close to striking a deal.

It is believed Clinton N'Jie would move the other way from White Hart Lane as part of any agreement which is reached.

N'Jie is yet to start a Premier League game since his move from Lyon last summer, although the 23-year-old did make the first XI for Europa League games against Anderlecht and Monaco.

Elsewhere, Sky sources say Lazio are monitoring Nabil Bentaleb's situation at the London side as he looks to be on his way out of the club.

The Algerian has not played for Tottenham since February and made only 13 appearances last season.

Bentaleb is not part of manager Mauricio Pochettino's plans but Sky Sports News HQ understands the club will only consider permanent offers for the midfielder.
