Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen is out of Netherlands' World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg on Sunday after sustaining concussion, according to Sky sources.

The 22-year-old collided with Liverpool and Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet in the 12th minute of Netherlands' 1-1 draw against Belgium on Wednesday.

Janssen attempted to play on for a further 14 minutes at the Amsterdam ArenA before being taken off in a disorientated state and replaced by Bas Dost.

After the game finished all-square, Netherlands head coach Danny Blind said: "Vincent is going to be a very difficult story.

"The physician told me it is a concussion. He lost 20 minutes of his memory and doesn't know what happened. We have to be careful with that and talk it through."
