Joleon Lescott set for Aston Villa after fee agreed with West Brom

Aston Villa have agreed a fee with West Brom for central defender Joleon Lescott, according to Sky sources.
Lescott, 33, has completed his medical and arrived at Villa's training ground ahead of his transfer for a fee of £1m, which could rise to £2m.
Sky sources also understand the former England international will sign a two-year contract at Villa.
The arrival of James Chester from Hull City and Jonny Evans from Manchester United have pushed Lescott down the pecking order at the Hawthorns.
Tim Sherwood is keen to add the experienced former Manchester City player, who has 26 England caps, to his squad before the window closes.
If the move goes through, Lescott will become Sherwood's 11th signing of an extremely busy summer at Villa Park.
