Italy

Juventus may be willing to wait until Anthony Martial's contract expires in 2019 to sign the forward for free, following a breakdown in valuation between the Italian giants and Manchester United. The English side want £70m for Martial while Juventus are only willing to pay £53m. (Tuttosport)

Chelsea transfer target Claudio Marchisio has stated in a recent interview that he wants to stay at Juventus next season and has had no contact with any other club this summer. The fringe player confirmed that he had not spoken to the Italian giants yet about his future but planned to do so in July. (Sport Mediaset)

AC Milan have begun negotiations with Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini but wage demands and the club's current troubles with UEFA may price them out of a move for the Belgian international. (Calcio Mercato)

Barcelona and Chelsea may be priced out of a move for Juventus' Miralem Pjanic after the club's president, Andrea Agnelli, set the Bosnian international's asking price between £75m and £88m. (Corriere dello Sport)

If Juventus sell Daniele Rugani and Pjanic this summer, the Serie A champions would look to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax or Atletico's Diego Godin as well as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio. (Calcio Mercato)

Spain

Valencia defender Joao Cancelo has arrived in Italy and is expected to complete a £33m move to Juventus once he has passed his medical. (Marca)

Germany

Moritz Leitner has opted to join Norwich City on a permanent deal after joining the club on loan last season from Augsburg. The former Borussia Dortmund youngster joined Daniel Farke's side on a four-year deal. (Kicker)

Brazilian left-back Marcelo could have joined Hamburg a year before he ended up at Real Madrid. In 2006 the defender and his father met with representatives of the then-Bundesliga club but couldn't justify spending the money needed to sign him from Fluminense on a left-back. (Sport Bild)

Schalke midfielder Max Meyer's contract expires at the end of the month and could end up at Marseille. The player's agent, Roger Wittman, is apparently well connected with the Ligue 1 side and would look to facilitate the deal. (Bild)

France

Lille have rejected a £10.5m offer from Spanish side Valencia for West Ham transfer target Kevin Malcuit. The Spanish side may now turn their attention towards Ronael Pierre-Gabriel from Saint Etienne. (French Football)
