Manchester City agree fee with Ipswich for Ben Knight

Manchester City have agreed a fee with Ipswich Town for Ben Knight, according to Sky sources.

The 16-year-old forward has already featured for the England U16 side having been at Ipswich for several years.

Knight was part of a group of scholars Ipswich welcomed to the club in April, with their website saying "the players will begin their two-year scholarship in July".

The statement on the website included a description of Knight, which said: "From Cambridge and started in our development centre there. Has been with us since the age of eight.

"Progressed through the age groups having recently made appearances for England U15s and U16s, scoring against Spain and Brazil.
