Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney paid a surprise visit to the young supporter who sent some of his pocket money to him as a thank you for his recent performances.
Cairney, who has scored three goals in 12 appearances this season for the Sky Bet Championship club, received the letter and £3 from a Fulham "season ticket holder" on Wednesday.
The young fan, eight-year-old Giacomo Marshall, also had a few hot tips for his hero, asking him to "try to do a bicycle kick" and "run fast to get the ball".
Cairney, who posted an image of the letter and money on his official Twitter page, took time out his busy schedule on Thursday to pay a visit to his biggest fan and came bearing gifts, including a signed shirt and a pair of his football boots.
