Wigan Athletic have rejected two bids in the region of £4m for Dutch forward Yanic Wildschut, Sky sources understand.

The Latics received two separate £4m bids from fellow Championship sides Norwich City and Derby County, turning down both.

Wildschut, 25, signed permanently with Wigan during the last January window from Middlesbrough after a successful initial loan spell with the club.

Having signed from Boro for a fee of around £1m, Wildschut has gone on to make 25 appearances for Warren Joyce's side so far this campaign, scoring five goals in all competitions.

Wigan currently sit 21st in the Championship table, outside of the relegation places by goal difference only.
