West Ham's injury list continues to grow, with key defender Winston Reid out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury.
The New Zealand international was injured in training, according to a tweet on Wednesday evening from Jack Sullivan, son of the Premier League club's joint-chairman David Sullivan.
Sullivan wrote: "Very bad news... Reid Injured in training 4-6 weeks with hamstring. But some players will return faster than anticipated due to hard work."
The Hammers have been badly hit by injury over the last month, with midfielder Manuel Lanzini ruled out for six weeks because of a thigh injury and striker Diafra Sakho sidelined for three months with a similar problem.
Winger Victor Moses is still sweating on the results of a scan on his hamstring, while play-maker Dimitri Payet is out until February and striker Enner Valencia has not played in more than a month after hurting his ankle soon after returning from a knee injury.
Slaven Bilic's side have failed to win in their last five league outings and have dropped to seventh in the table as a result.
Reid's absence will most likely mean Angelo Ogbonna and James Tomkins starting at the heart of West Ham's defence when they host Stoke on Saturday, and a return at right-back for Carl Jenkinson.
